Move Well Studio can be found in the quaint village of Sicklinghall near Wetherby & Harrogate. You can expect a warm welcome with a helpful, accessible style of class.
We offer a range of classes to help you move more comfortably, confidently and freely - taking what you learn on the mat into your every day life.
Our founder, Louisa, is a yoga, Pilates and Restore Your Core® teacher, myofascial release therapist, core injury specialist and all-round body geek. She has been teaching in Wetherby area since 2007.

Yoga Sculpt and Flow
Our yoga classes will help you build strength, improve mobility and quieten your mind, leaving you rested and energised. Whether you are new to yoga, or have been practicing for years, you will make new discoveries about your body’s capabilities, while cultivating a state of quiet awareness to support you through everyday life.

Core Pilates
This mat Pilates class uses precise, mindful movement to build core strength, improve whole body alignment and free your spine. If you are recovering from a back or pelvic injury, this class will help you learn how to move safely and confidently as you return to the activities you enjoy.

Pregnancy Yoga
Support your changing body through every stage of pregnancy at our friendly pregnancy yoga classes. During each class we work through focused breathing practices to help calm your mind and prepare you for birth. We also enjoy deep rest, to help reset your nervous system and give you the best night’s sleep.

Postnatal Pilates
This mat-based Pilates class uses small props to rebuild strength and restore balance after pregnancy and birth. Suitable once cleared by a healthcare professional, the class focuses on strengthening the core, improving pelvic floor health and releasing tension from the back and shoulders. Babies under crawling age are welcome to join.

Restore Your Core®
Restore Your Core® is whole-body exercise course aimed at anyone with core issues, such as diastasis-recti, pelvic organ prolapse or back pain. Packed full of educational content, each class includes yoga and Pilates-inspired exercises, breath work and weekly homework videos.

1:1 Yoga or Pilates
One to one appointments are tailor-made and focus on exactly what your body needs in order to feel well. Whether you are struggling with a pelvic floor issue such as incontinence or prolapse; you want to improve abdominal strength or heal a diastasis-recti (abdominal separation); or you simply want to move with a deeper awareness and create more balance in your body, a 1:1 appointment is the ideal option.

Meet Louisa.
Hi! I'm Louisa Thomas, a movement teacher, myofascial release practitioner and mum of 3.
My love of yoga and movement began in 2003, when I sampled my first yoga class on a trip to India. Humbled and shocked by how such seemingly simple movements challenged my body - and my mind - I was immediately hooked.
Yoga has been an important part of my life ever since. I completed my first yoga teacher training course in 2007, in Kerala, India.
