Build strength, stability and connection
Postnatal Pilates in Wetherby
Our Postnatal Pilates classes provide a friendly, informal space to safely return to exercise after birth.
Why Practice Postnatal Pilates.
What to expect in postnatal pilates classes:
Suitable once cleared by your healthcare provider, this mat-based Pilates class will help you to build strength, rebuild core and pelvic floor integrity and improve your overall posture.
The classes will also help you to learn how to move well off the mat, so that your core and pelvic floor can be supported, and can support you, as you go about your everyday activities.
Babies under crawling age are welcome to join you to the class, and we have a play mat and baby swing to keep them occupied as you exercise.
After the class, we will serve hot drinks and biscuits in the adjoining conservatory, so you can connect with other new mums, feed your baby or simply relax and enjoy a hot drink before it goes cold!
Who can benefit from postnatal pilates?
Taught by Louisa, a core and pelvic floor specialist, this class is particularly beneficial for anyone struggling with post-natal issues such as back pain, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence or diastasis-recti (abdominal separation).
