January Day Retreat

A day to pause, breathe, relax and unwind.

Join us as we retreat to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside for a day of yoga, mindfulness, delicious food and relaxation – pure nourishment for mind, body and soul.

This full day retreat takes place at Move Well, a spacious studio created with wellness and tranquility in mind. Based on a working farm and surrounded by the rich Yorkshire countryside, Move Well is light, spacious and surrounded by unspoilt views. With full-length windows, high ceilings, exposed beams, underfloor heating and soft lighting, Move Well lends itself to escaping the noise of modern life.

During this day retreat we will enjoy:
-Two yoga classes to both energise, rebalance and nourish the body;
-Guided meditation practices to settle the mind;
-Breath work to cleanse the body, relax the nervous system and release tension;
-Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, to promote deep rest and relaxation;
-A delicious, home-cooked and authentic Sri Lankan vegetarian lunch;
-Quiet time to set intentions for the months ahead, journal or to simply rest under a blanket.

The yoga classes will be suitable for all levels and abilities, including complete beginner or pregnant mums, and are aimed at restoring balance in your body, helping you to build strength and stamina while also enjoying a calming, nourishing experience.
